What a total pro Sam is. I had the pleasure of working with Sam, Dan and Doriana on a video project, which told the stories of our Deliveroo partners. On the day, I as really impressed with how slick Matchbox Film Co’s operations were – with ease they set up and before I knew it, we were rolling the interview and b-roll. Sam’s style of direction is one you have total faith in – I could tell he had taken the time to understand our business and the questions we wanted to ask. His attention to detail was something I’d like to particularly highlight – he would ask a question and then depending on the interviewee’s answer, he would ask them to repeat if it needed to be clearer, or if he would need them to reword what they said, incorporating the question into the answer – it was amazing to see him be the director but also have that editor mindset.
